Creating Glass Beads
Art glass beads in varied sizes, shapes, and colors. Most of my designs are one of a kind items. Some designs can not be repeated exactly as they are created by a mix of chemical reactions, combinations of fuel and oxygen
flame conditions, and the amount of heat applied to the bead. I also am venturing into the field of marbles, making contemporary glass marbles. I have experimented with glass animal figures, beverage stirrers, and icicles.
I have on occasion made finished jewelry like earrings, necklaces, and bracelets. I am always glad to take custom orders, colors, sizes, shapes, and designs can be made. If you don’t see what you want, let me know and I will always try to make it, with no obligation to purchase on your part. I prefer not to do large production orders, and try to focus on one of a kind pieces. If you have any questions, please contact me directly.
All glass beads are kiln annealed. Kiln annealing allows the cooling glass to maintain an even temperature between the inside and outside of a piece so that stress is not allowed to build up in a piece to the extent it could crack or break. I use a computer kiln controller so that I have precise control over the kiln without having to worry about watching a thermometer or pyrometer.
All of my pieces are guaranteed against breakage from normal wear and handling. I am confident enough in my work that if you do not like a bead or piece, simply return it with an explanation, and I will refund you.
